Instructor Ateba Gaines's Credentials Quote: "I have taught at colleges and major universities like Stanford University. I ran a social enterprise, a B-Corp (non-profit and for-profit business), of which I won the Women Deliver Award for Best Social Enterprise and featured on MTV Acts and MTV. Before starting my social enterprise, I worked for Nike and managed the South East Asia Footwear account. Today, I am a business professor by trade and advise many small businesses as a business advisor to the Chamber of Commerce. I have an M.A. in International Management, courses to include International Accounting and Business. Also, I understand kid internet safety, as I have worked with NetSmart and familiar with Internet safety for Kids. The tools used in this class are fine, but with anything, parents still need to monitor your child's online business. I give parents/ students advice on how to promote their businesses online in a safe manner."
The homework is to take the tools and keep working on the business for good. Students will leave with tools and task. Students can message me through Outschool even after the course for further support and guidance. I am always available to my Kid- CEOs and their parents.

Hello, parents please be present at the beginning of the course, as there is important information that I need to share. We are using internet resources like CANVA, so I would like to talk to all parents at the beginning of the course. I want to make sure you are well informed about this particular website (i.e., use, cost -no need to sign up for plans/ student doesn't need it, and more).
We will use CANVA. Students will be tasked to create a logo at the end of the course using CANVA.
