Students will be able to follow along in creating egg rolls by hand. The topics covered in this class will be an introduction to making egg rolls from scratch using ingredients that most people have at home like pork, shrimp or chicken and cabbage/carrots. This class requires no prior skills. While rolling the egg rolls we will discuss modifications we can make for sweet egg rolls or breakfast egg rolls. Students will be using hot oil to fry their egg rolls, I highly encourage parents be present for the cooking of the egg rolls in the hot oil.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University
Hello & Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in my classes and in me. I have my Bachelor's of Art: Fine Art from Florida Gulf Coast University, go Eagles! After four years of teaching visual arts and three years of teaching online, I am excited for every opportunity to teach young learners and help them grow. My classroom is one that is open and friendly, accepting of everyone regardless of skill level or knowledge, promotes creativity, and inspires learners to continue to learn. I love that "aha" moment when something we are learning clicks and a students eyes light up.
I am open to creating classes to meet the needs of students. Share your excitement and ideas! I love all medium: drawing, painting, sculpting, fiber arts and digital design. I also love cooking from scratch.
I try to tie in the history of the arts as I teach so that it builds a background for what we are learning. If we are learning about Surrealism, we might digitally travel to Spain and learn about the history of Salvador Dali and tour his museum. Then we will create a dream journal and our own artistic creations based on the style of the movement. I want my classes to inspire students of all ages to create.
I have always had a passion for the arts, traveling and gaming. I have been a gamer and have enjoyed tabletop games like GURPS and D&D, as well as online platforms like World of Warcraft and Asheron's Call.
I hope to have the opportunity to meet your learner soon! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
