How to Make Clothes in Roblox! Step-By-Step Lesson (on Computer/Laptop)
What's included
1 live meeting
45 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Students will want to do this on a computer/laptop. (iPads/Tablets will not work well for this process) 😁I love teaching this class, as students get to build a digital product and then immediately get the satisfaction of seeing it come to life in Roblox. During our time together, students will create a clothing file, upload it to Roblox, and see it being worn by their 3D avatar. Students also love the entrepreneurial aspect, as they can sell these designs to other players once they're finished. I will walk students through how to use free online tools to create the Roblox clothing. The process is relatively easy, and it is a great way for students to learn basic graphic design and computer editing skills. When you sign up, you will also receive a PDF document with step-by-step picture instructions! **Students will need 10 "Robux" in their Roblox account to upload a shirt into Roblox and be able to wear it. This also allows them to sell their new designs to other players!** --- What Students Can Expect --- - We will begin with a quick icebreaker, and learners will get to share what Roblox games they enjoy playing. - We will learn how to use the Roblox Clothing Templates to create customized shirts / pants, with our own text/graphics using a free online graphic design tool. - We will create new items together in real-time, to demonstrate how things work. Students will partake in helping me design shirts/pants and learn about all the different design possibilities. - Finally, we will learn how to upload our files + learn how to sell our designs to other players! If you have any other questions about this class, please send me a message :) Best, Walker McKenzie

Hi there! My name is Walker McKenzie. In the past, I've spent time as a public school teacher, personal tutor, and most recently I held the role of Visual Storyteller at Discovery Education.
I have experience designing engaging lessons and building customized learning experiences for students, and I'd love to help your child fall in love with learning by tailoring lessons to their interests. I enjoy running clubs that take topics kids are interested in (like Video Games) and turning them into a productive, social experience by combining them with topics like Art and Math.
I can also offer homeschooling assistance/tutoring:
Let's discuss building a plan for your learner that gives them the skills needed for the future. I specialize in elementary math and science. I love this area as I think a strong STEM foundation is so important for learners. Whether you are looking for 1-on-1 tutoring or long-term, comprehensive assistance with homeschool planning, I'd love to speak with you: walkermckenzie@gmail.com
