Class Experience
This is a great class to introduce hand sewing to kids ages 8-12. And yes boys love it too! In this one time class , learners will use gloves and felt or button embellishments to create monster dolls. They will learn to sew on a button, simple straight stitching and a ladder stitch to close the doll. I recommend using the stretchy gloves you can find at the dollar store or Walmart. Supplies: gloves batting/stuffing needle/thread buttons, felt, etc for embellishing scissors
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents may want to supervise cutting and sewing.
