Class Experience
I'd like all students to leave feeling excited about the potential of having a career in video games, with some ideas on how they can achieve it. When students are most motivated by the possibility of achieving their dreams, I find a lot of them can make it happen if they put the work in!
No homework will be assigned as this is a one-off class.
If your child wants to ask me specific questions about games I've produced or worked on, my website at www.darionl.com lists a lot of the projects I've produced and directed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I'll be talking about the world of video games; we may talk about a range of different game types, but no images or video will be shown.
