Class experience
This class is packed full of information and encouragement for young artists who are interested in animation! As an animation teacher, I get students all the time who are terrified of animation and art classes in general because they think it's too hard or they don't draw well enough and I always let them know that YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A GOOD ARTIST TO BE A GOOD ANIMATOR! Animation is super fun and super easy and I truly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy...
'Students will learn all the basics in getting started in all types of animation (traditional/ 2D Digital/ Stop Motion/ Motion Graphics/ 3D). I have a list of questions to go over and will leave time to answer student's specific questions, if they have any. My goal is to open the world of animation to young artists and show that there are so many ways you can get started and it's SO much easier and cheaper than a lot of people realize!
I have a BFA degree in animation from Laguna College of Art & Design and have been a professional animator for 6+ years now. I have been teaching digital art and animation to students of all ages for several years now, so I have plenty of knowledge and experience in animation!
I will have a handout for students on the day of our class that will provide all the information, links, and supplies for what we cover during our time together!
