Class Experience

Learn how to turn your book idea into a proposal and how to approach agents and publishers to see your ideas get published. In this workshop, students will learn how to write a book proposal, how to format a manuscript, how to find the right publishers, and how to write cover letters and pitches and get feedback and results. 
I am a hands-on instructor who will guide you and is always happy to answer questions, and provide insight, support, and feedback.
If you have an idea for a book, or have already written a fiction or nonfiction book, this workshop will be your guide into the world of publishing.

Students will learn how to write effective cover letters and pitches to publishers.
Students will learn about fit, form, and function.
Students will learn how to find the right agents and publishers for their books.
Students will learn how to use websites such as Submittable and Literarium.
Students will learn the differences between self-publishing and traditional publishing.
