Class Experience

Let's face it, we all have stress, but children may manifest it in different ways than adults and it's our job to help them develop strategies that can make life a little easier. By giving them the tools to help themselves we can empower them to become independent and confident. This class is designed to teach children about stress and how to manage it. Students will develop a toolbox of personalized calming strategies.. These will become lifelong tools for a healthy happy life. Please note: this is NOT therapy or counseling. We will learn, discuss, self reflect, and practice specific strategies to manage stress

Hello Parents, I've been working with students for 31 years as a teacher and "stress manager." One of my main goals in running a classroom was a stress free environment. I learned many techniques over the years to help students remain calm. Throughout my teaching career I became certified in many modalities and holistic therapies to further help children and parents with stress( life coaching, meditation, EFT, hypnosis, reiki, essential oils) I worked with children and parents for over 5 years through my business, Serenity in Bloom, which seeks to help children and adults cope with stress. If you'd like to check out the website I am linked with go to www.MagicalSoulutions.com under one on one coaching. Please note: this is not therapy or counseling. This class is designed to introduce students to strategies that will help them remain calm or allow them to calm down when they become stressed. This class will NOT delve into any mental health issues. We will learn, discuss, reflect, and practice calming strategies.
