Description
Class Experience
Every week students will be challenged to put some of their new-found repair skills & knowledge to use.
Part of this class is finding tools around the home. Sometimes a tool is needed which is not available - we talk about options for borrowing or buying tools. Students will be encouraged to write a list of tools they think they need, and will also be given a list of tools for consideration during the course.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students may need support & encouragement with their repairs - where possible, talk your child through it. Sometimes strength or intervention may be required. Students should ask your permission before attempting to repair any item (we talk about this during the course). No AC (plug into the wall) electronic repairs should be attempted.
