Students will be given a one-page handout of the “do-and-don’ts” of learning history to keep for future reference.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

There will be a short question-and-answer session on the American Civil War to give students a chance to practice their new skills. This subject covers the subjects of slavery, racism, and war and effects. Although graphic detail will be avoided, some people find these to be sensitive subjects. They will be handled as benignly as possible for this age group.
