50 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this basic drawing class, we will demonstrate and practice drawing realistic eyes and ears in a fun and engaging way. This is a one-time class, but it fits very well with the class, "How to Draw the Human Face." In fact, this class has been highly-requested by students and parents! We will learn the foundations of drawing a realistic ear and eye on a large scale. Students will be able to follow step-by-step instructions with the teacher. They will also receive instructions on how to adapt their drawings to match a specific person. We will practice techniques that will make it fun and easy to draw these features. The camera will show exactly what the teacher is drawing so that you can follow along. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience with drawing, you will be able to work at your level. This is one of those skills that can be very useful with time and practice!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to draw eyes and ears confidently by using step-by-step instructions and value.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have always enjoyed art. I spent my high school years in the art classroom as much as my school would allow. In college, I studied Studio Art, learning from the best. For more than a decade, I have been teaching children and teens on a weekly basis, and I love every moment of it.
