Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Jennifer Sabino. I am 31-years-old. I live with my husband and our cat. I have a strong passion for teaching and making learning art fun for my students! I have an energetic, patient, fun, and encouraging personality that will make your students feel comfortable in my classroom.
I have my associate's degree in School Age Education and am currently working towards my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have 14 years of teaching experience. I have taught in elementary school, middle school, and high school environments, as well as private art lessons. I currently work as an online teacher.
In my spare time I enjoy drawing and painting (Disney characters are my favorite!), traveling (again, Disney is my favorite!), and spending time with my husband and our cat (Jasper).
Art has always been a huge passion of mine and I would love to share that with your learner and help them to develop a passion for it as well! Students will learn how to draw or paint by following my step-by-step live demonstration. I like to ask for thumbs up so I know students are caught up and ready to move on to the next step. If students find themselves struggling, I encourage them to speak up and let me know as I am more than happy to help them!
My teaching style is one of enthusiasm and interaction with my students. I love getting my students engaged and excited about the art that we are creating.
My Outschool classroom is a positive, safe, and fun environment for students to enjoy and relax as they learn how to draw or paint.
I am so excited to have your learner join me in my classroom!
- Mrs. Jennifer

**CLASS POLICIES***
1 - I strive to keep classes close to the scheduled amount of time. However, depending on the amount of students enrolled and the pace of the students, classes may run a few minutes over or under.
2 - Classes will begin at their scheduled time, even if all students are not in the classroom. If your learner has missed the beginning of class, they can watch the video of class later to see what they missed.
3 - If there are no learners in the classroom, I will wait 10 minutes before exiting the classroom.
4 - Classroom expectations are as follows:
A. Students will remain muted the entire lesson to avoid any distracting background noise that may disturb other students.
B. Parents and siblings are welcomed to watch the class but if siblings are going to participate, each sibling must be enrolled in the lesson individually.

**REFUNDS/TRANSFERS**
If within the week, you realize you won't be able to make class, please submit a transfer request at least 24 hours prior to class beginning. This ensures another student who would like to take the class has enough time to see the opening and enroll.
If contacted after class, I cannot refund or transfer. I do understand there are emergencies that may arise and I will do my best to support you if I am contacted before the class is scheduled.
