Description

Class Experience

Each class will begin with a 15 minute warmup sketch. 

Then we will do a simple step by step drawing with thorough explanation together to introduce some simple drawing techniques including

1st class - How to break down complicated characters into simple geometric shapes
2nd class - How to build archetypal characters based on varying base shapes
3rd class - How to use overlapping shapes to create the illusion of life
4th class - Rendering shading and values
5th class - Drawing forms in 3D...

This class is taught in English.

Students are not required to do homework, but hopefully they will be inspired to continue drawing long after classes end.

Students will need
- pencil, 
- computer paper or sketch paper, and 
- erasers. 

For those that like to color it would be good to have 
- a set of watercolors and 
- some watercolor paper.

1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
