Each class introduces an aspect of human anatomy, like shape, form, and proportion to help learners build a well-rounded understanding of drawing people. Depending on the session, learners will practice skills in observational drawing, gesture drawing, and working with positive or negative space. They’ll also have the chance to explore different drawing styles and mediums, discovering what resonates with their personal expression. In a supportive environment, learners are encouraged to embrace mistakes as part of the learning process and gain confidence through constructive feedback. This class will give learners an impressive collection of figurative art to add to their portfolio. Perfect for beginners, this club also welcomes intermediate artists seeking to refine their skills in an easygoing, familiar setting. 📋 Class Structure - Learners check in - Discuss reference of the day and review the shape language - Draw along live demo with step-by-step instruction* - Learners given time for self directed work - Learners share their creations * During the draw along, learners are welcome to hold up their drawing to the camera for gentle feedback. They are also encouraged to ask questions through the microphone or chatbox throughout the lesson. For classes of more than 3 learners, everyone’s microphone will be muted during instruction to avoid background noise. Learners will be asked to raise their hand before speaking. 🖌️ Materials - Regular HB pencil - 2nd darker pencil (2B, 4B Etc.) - Drawing paper or sketchbook - Eraser - Recommended: pen eraser for details 📅 Upcoming Classes [Mar 24 - Mar 30] Falling Pose [Mar 31 - Apr 6] * Surprise Topic * [Apr 7 - Apr 13] Big Hat Portrait [Apr 14 - Apr 20] Gentle Hands [Apr 21 - Apr 27] Underwater Pose [Apr 28 - May 4] * Surprise Topic * [May 5 - May 11] Nose Exploration [May 12 - May 18] Angry Eyes [May 19 - May 25] Umbrella Pose [May 26 - Jun 1] * Surprise Topic * [Jun 2 - Jun 8] Looking Up Portrait [Jun 9 - Jun 15] Holding Magic [Jun 16 - Jun 22] Skateboard Pose [Jun 23 - Jun 29] Reading Pose [Jun 30 - Jul 6] Surprise Topic [Jul 7 - Jul 13] Feet 01 [Jul 14 - Jul 20] Eyes 01 [Jul 21 - Jul 27] * Surprise Topic * [Jul 28 - Aug 3] Hair 01 [Aug 4 - Aug 10] Portrait 01 [Aug 11 - Aug 17] Nose 01 [Aug 12 - Aug 18] * Surprise Topic * [Aug 25 - Aug 31] Full body Pose [Sep 1 - Sep 7] Hands 02 [Sep 8 - Sep 14] Feet 02 [Sep 15 - Sep 21] Lips [Sep 22 - Sep 28] * Surprise Topic * [Sep 29 - Oct 5] Profile Portrait [Oct 6 - Oct 12] Ears [Oct 13 - Oct 19] Eyes with Glasses [Oct 20 - Oct 26] * Surprise Topic * [Oct 27 - Nov 2] Upper Body [Nov 3 - Nov 9] Lower Body [Nov 10 - Nov 16] Sitting Pose [Nov 17 - Nov 23] * Surprise Topic * [Nov 24 - Nov 30] Hair 02 [Dec 1 - Dec 7] Nose 02 [Dec 8 - Dec 14] Walking Pose [Dec 15 - Dec 21] Eyebrows [Dec 22 - Dec 28] * Surprise Topic * [Dec 29 - Jan 4] Smiling Teeth
