Class Experience
1 file available upon enrollmentAll students will need to have these materials: - photograph of a horse (you can use photos you've taken yourself if you have any or photos you find online, in magazines, in books, or you can use a photo from my reference photos attached) - white paper (typing paper is fine for the warm-up exercises) - pencil (HB, assorted, or mechanical) -kneaded eraser -pink plastic eraser From the lists below, you only need to have the materials for the medium you choose to use during class. FOR PASTELS: *Please note, pastel can stain clothing, carpets, etc. -pastel pencils -soft and hard pastels -soft vine charcoal - grey paper for charcoal and pastel (feel free to contact me for recommendations) FOR CHARCOAL: -charcoal pencil -white pencil (pastel pencil, these often come in the pack with charcoal pencils) -soft vine charcoal -pencil sharpener designed for pastel pencils - grey paper for charcoal and pastel or toned grey paper pad FOR COLORED PENCIL: - grey paper for charcoal and pastel or toned grey paper pad *Check for warning labels on all supplies: some pastels and colored pencils are toxic if inhaled or ingested. Please let me know if you have any questions about the needed materials.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
