In this weekly art club for animal lovers, learners will start with a step-by-step drawing of a featured animal, practicing motor skills and patience. They’ll also learn fun facts about the animal, adding an educational element to the class. Afterward, learners will use their creativity in a self-directed MASHUP, combining features from different animals to design their own unique creature. The results are often creative, sometimes a little silly… but hopefully not too scary!

The club’s weekly structure allows the same learners to meet regularly, creating a familiar and supportive environment. They learn to embrace mistakes, build confidence, and create artwork they’re proud of, all while practicing social skills like sharing and talking about their art.

📋 Class Structure:
- Learners check in
- Chat about animal 1 of the week and draw along animal 1 with step by step instruction
- Introduction to the three animals for possible mashup and learners create the mashup animal through self directed work
- Learners color, add backgrounds to their drawing and social time
- Show and tell with drawing
