All skill levels are welcome! In this ongoing drawing club, students will get to discuss and draw alongside peers with the same interest (Anime) The world of anime is HUGE! So we will learn how to draw everything related to Anime, such as; Animals, characters, Hands, environments, items, faces, eyes, expressions, proportions, and much more! This class is fun, relaxed, and nurturing as I aim to increase students' confidence with drawing. NOTE: I will be drawing and outlining only. *This is an informal class! although we do go over art fundamentals to improve our drawings, it is a social drawing club mainly!* Subjects will repeat but will never be the same drawing. For example, if one week we focus on drawing hands, the next time we draw them, they will look different. Allowing students to join at any point without repeating a drawing. Learners can join and leave as they, please! * Subject/topics will change depending on the learner's interest* *Some weeks throughout the year will be off* Weekly schedule: August: -tears on face -character feeling sick -double sided drawing ( good vs evil) -character in action September: -swimming -hair exploration -different types of teeth in anime -sunglasses super summer heat! Happy you are here! this is my biography:
Hello! My name is Ana, but my students call me Ms. Ana. I am a practicing artist by day and an Art teacher by night!
In 2012, I worked as a Daycare Assistant at the Royal Daycare & Learning Centre in Mississauga, ON. I cared for large groups of children with fun-directed activities, including nature walks, arts and crafts, and snack time.
I have been the Art Teacher at Canadas School of Music and Arts in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, since 2016. I teach Kinder Arts classes for ages 4 to 6, Art fundamentals for ages 6 to 13, and private lessons for any age group. I am responsible for creating lessons and curricula and helping students develop their artistic skills by drawing, painting, and sketching. I am proud of making monthly themed lesson plans for my students, in which we explore different mediums, such as; acrylic paint, watercolor paint, pastels, and pencil crayons.
My teaching philosophy is based on finding your confidence as a growing artist. Through constructive criticism and confidence building, anyone can learn!
