All skill levels are welcome! In this ongoing drawing club, students will get to discuss and draw alongside peers with the same interest(Anime) The world of anime is HUGE! So we will learn how to draw everything related to Anime, such as; Hands, environments, items, faces, eyes, expressions, proportions, and much more! This class is fun, relaxed, and nurturing as I aim to increase students' confidence with drawing. After the step-by-step portion students can take some time to show their work if they feel comfortable :) NOTE: I will be drawing and outlining only. Coloring will only be done if time permits. Some weeks we will explore color using pencil crayons/markers. ( students will be informed ahead of time ) SUBJECTS will repeat but will never be the same drawing. For example, if one week we focus on drawing hands, the next time we draw them, they will look different. Allowing students to join at any point without repeating a drawing. Learners can join and leave as they, please! * Subject/topics will change depending on the learner's interest* *Some weeks throughout the year will be off* Febuary: Face structure Hair Expression: Happy Artist Study; Inuyasha March: Anime animals ( Cute style ) Studio Ghibli style Anime anatomy Anime poses April: Dive into Naruto style( this topic might change based on students preferences) —MORE DATES WILL BE ADDED—

Happy you are here! this is my biography:
Hello! My name is Ana, but my students call me Ms. Ana. I am a practicing artist by day and an Art teacher by night!
In 2012, I worked as a Daycare Assistant at the Royal Daycare & Learning Centre in Mississauga, ON. I cared for large groups of children with fun-directed activities, including nature walks, arts and crafts, and snack time.
I have been the Art Teacher at Canadas School of Music and Arts in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, since 2016. I teach Kinder Arts classes for ages 4 to 6, Art fundamentals for ages 6 to 13, and private lessons for any age group. I am responsible for creating lessons and curricula and helping students develop their artistic skills by drawing, painting, and sketching. I am proud of making monthly themed lesson plans for my students, in which we explore different mediums, such as; acrylic paint, watercolor paint, pastels, and pencil crayons.
My teaching philosophy is based on finding your confidence as a growing artist. Through constructive criticism and confidence building, anyone can learn!
Some fun facts about me:
