1-2 hours per week. Artists will be encouraged to complete their art pieces after class and to apply the lessons learned to draw additional characters.Assessment
Students are encouraged to share their work with Rozine and other learners, by holding their artwork up to the camera after each character is drawn. Praise and recognition is awarded, regardless of skill level. Rozine stresses the importance of each artist liking their own work—and if they see something they don't like, she motivates them to find the solution to fix the problem. Suggested fixes are offered if the student struggles.Class Experience
Discover the joy of drawing with Rozine as she guides students through creating adorable cartoon animal characters like foxes, pandas, and lions. Each lesson teaches how to use simple geometric shapes to form the animals, and students will refine their work by adding expressive faces and whimsical details like tiny mouths, big eyes, and fun seasonal accessories (perfect for holiday-themed classes!). Rozine's step-by-step process ensures that every child feels confident and creative. Students will receive individual attention, and the class will encourage fun, interactive participation through live feedback and collaborative activities. After the class, students will leave with their very own animal creations, ready to show off!
Learning Goals
