Beginner Level
This class is designed to teach beginner students how to draw animals in a cute stylized fashion. This could range from semi-realistic to super stylized. They will learn how to identify shapes in animals and how to translate them into a simplified and cartoony form. Students could participate in the beginning of the class by also suggesting what animals we can try drawing together and how to find references to draw said animals.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to see animals for their shapes and forms, as this is needed to help exaggerate animals into their cartoony versions. While drawing cute animals is obviously 2d, they will also learn how to draw three-dimensionally.
