This class is a fun social drawing club where every week we take character requests from our students and mash up them up to create new, hilarious cartoon characters every week.
Class experience
If you child wants to be a better artist, and wants to create their own characters while paying tribute to the classic and contemporary cartoon characters we love, this is for them! Each week we combine too different cartoon characters to create an original. We look at references of our favorite characters and I point out how to see like an artists, improving their powers of observation which help them immensely as artists--the shapes used, the contrast, the line weight, and other facets of...
Students will learn to draw a host of characters from The Animaniacs. They will also learn many different strategies, tips, and techniques for drawing that can be applied to any type of drawing, especially cartooning.
paper pencil eraser black marker or pen coloring utensils are optional
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
