I will post links to useful drawing tutorials in the classroom so students can continue to develop their drawing if they wish.Assessment
Students will complete a range of drawing activities and be able to identify the techniques used. They can share their work and for peer review if they wish.Class Experience
This one-time class shares drawing tips and guidance to help your little artist master drawing simple outlines for a range of animals. I will use simple techniques and step-by-step instructions to demonstrate how to draw various animals, including cats, dogs, monkeys, penguins and more. We will discuss the key features of each animal, then work together to build a montage of our favorite animals. I will demonstrate how to draw each animal and encourage students to show their work as they progress. Students are encouraged to experiment with color and composition. Students can use any medium they like including pencil, crayon, or marker pens.
Learning Goals
This class teaches children how to draw animals using easy techniques which can be applied to other drawing activities.
