Hello Artists! I am Miss Ally and I can’t wait to paint with you! I am so passionate about Art and Crafting. I have experience working with children and youth of all ages. In my art classes I will show you techniques such as shadowing, blending and how to create dimension in your paintings. I will also work with artists on creating new colors with mixing the colors. Our 55-minute art class is thoughtfully designed to engage and inspire young artists aged 6 to 11. Here's a breakdown of how each session will be organized and run: Warm-Up (5 minutes): The class begins with a brief warm-up activity to get the creative juices flowing. This might involve a short discussion about art, a quick sketching exercise, or a fun creative prompt. Main Lesson (25 minutes): The core of the class is dedicated to the main art lesson. I will introduce a specific art technique, style, or project for the day. Learners will receive step-by-step guidance, demonstrations, and hands-on assistance as needed to help them grasp the concepts. Artistic Exploration (15 minutes): Following the main lesson, children will have the opportunity to apply what they've learned. They'll work on their individual art projects, allowing for artistic freedom and self-expression. Providing guidance and support tailored to each child's skill level and needs. Discussion (5 minutes): It's essential to instill good habits, so we dedicate a few minutes to clean up. This is also an excellent time for a brief group discussion, where students can share their experiences, ask questions, or express their thoughts about the lesson. Show and Tell (5 minutes): To encourage self-confidence and art appreciation, each class may conclude with a brief "show and tell" session. Learners can choose to showcase their artwork, and the group can offer positive feedback and appreciation. Parents can expect a well-structured and engaging art class that nurtures their learner's creativity and artistic growth within the 55-minute timeframe. In this class we will begin with introductions, a supply check list and get right into using acrylic paints to capture the subject. You need to have some experience using paint and paintbrushes. I will be guiding you 100 % of the way. Along our adventure creating this adorable painting, students will be introduced to brush and painting skills that will be utilized well in all painting classes in the future. In my classes self-confidence is built and the artists will feel very comfortable in the relaxed fun atmosphere I create! I look forward to meeting each new artist and watch their skills develop. Recordings of our class is available if you are unable to be in class. These include but are not limited to: creating dimension facts about painting mixing colors blending colors shadowing with paint cleaning your brush while painting My teaching style is very laid back. Learning Goals
Children of all ages can benefit from painting, as it fosters imagination and self-expression. I've seen how it helps children explore emotions and ideas, providing a creative outlet that encourages personal growth and boosts confidence

Supply List
Dear Students and Parents, I am excited to meet and paint with you all! Please make sure to arrive on time, as I am unable to allow anyone into the room more than 10 minutes after the start of class. The first 10 minutes are crucial to setting up and getting started, and it's very difficult for students to catch up once the class is underway. It’s important for everyone to begin on the first paint stroke so they can succeed and enjoy the full experience. If you are unable to attend class, a recording of the session will be available so you can still follow along at your own pace. Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to painting with you soon! Warmly, Miss Ally Supply List: Canvas, canvas board, or sturdy paper (no larger than 10x14 inches) Alternatively, you may use any recycled object, such as a piece of wood. Large, medium, and small paintbrushes Pencil Paints: Blue White Black Blow dryer (for artists who may need help with drying time) Cup of water (for cleaning brushes) Optional: Additional paint colors of your choice Let me know if you need any further adjustments! Warmly, Ally
