In this drawing and tempera painting class, we will discuss the art supplies needed for this project. We will review composition and placement of shapes and lines on our paper. Using a pencil, we will then combine shapes and lines to create a Penguin design. Once our drawing is complete, we will outline our design with black paint, then let it dry. Finally, we will discuss the application of tempera paints and begin painting the Penguin design. We will discuss paint color, value, and texture.
