Class Experience

Please bring the following materials to class:
watercolor paper
pencil
eraser
black permanent marker
watercolors
paint brush
water cup
paper towels

In this one-time class students will learn how to draw an Easter egg. I will help break the drawing down into simple lines and shapes and demonstrate how to draw each step of the way. Students will work on their project along with the teacher. Once we are finished drawing, we will trace the pencil drawing with permanent marker. Then the students may use watercolor to finish their artwork. For this final step, I like to allow students complete freedom over how they paint which includes choosing their own colors. Most students will need to finish painting outside of class.
