Learn to draw a realistic sloth with coloured pencil. No experience necessary! Students will learn how to sketch, shade, and layer to create an adorable and realistic sloth drawing. We will also learn fun facts about sloths along the way! Ms. Emily will guide students step-by-step throughout the class and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their artwork with the other learners in the class. It will be a warm and inclusive environment that will be a good mix of learning and fun! You will need: a pencil, eraser, paper, and coloured pencils (including orange, brown, and black).

👩🎓 I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and have taught a wide range of art classes over the years, including teaching art to individuals on the autism spectrum.
🦋 My specialities include drawing animals and nature, as well as painting with watercolour.

I like to sprinkle educational facts into each art class and allow lots of room for creativity. I don’t believe art should be stressful and strongly believe that having good art experiences can lead to greater self confidence and improved mental health.
