😻 Calling all cat lovers!! 😻 Isn't this kitten just precious?! Come learn how to draw it during this one-time class! No experience necessary! We will cover sketching, shading, highlighting, and smudging techniques and will also learn fun facts about kittens along the way! Ms. Emily will guide students step-by-step throughout the class and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their artwork with the class. It will be a warm and inclusive environment that will be a good mix of learning and fun! Supply List
You will need: a pencil, eraser, and paper. *We will be smudging with our fingers, but you can also use a cotton swab or a blending stump, if preferred.

🎨 I am an artist and educator with more than 10 years of teaching experience and I LOVE teaching art!
👩🎓 I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and have taught a wide range of art classes over the years, including teaching art to individuals on the autism spectrum.
🦋 My specialities include drawing animals and nature, as well as painting with watercolour.
🌈✨ I always strive to teach fun and engaging classes while creating an inclusive environment that puts learners at ease. I like to sprinkle educational facts into each art class and allow lots of room for creativity. I don’t believe art should be stressful and strongly believe that having good art experiences can lead to greater self confidence and improved mental health.
