Description

Class Experience

In this one-time class session, students will learn how to draw 3-D letters with One-Point Perspective and shading. They will follow along as I use a document camera to demonstrate skills as they complete each step on their own papers. We will create two drawings. One will be a practice page where students will try out each new step. The other will be a final drawing where students will apply the new skills. 

We will begin with a step-by-step tutorial about how to draw capital block letters....

Students can finish up any remaining details on their final drawings. They will have access to our recorded class video if they need to review any tutorial steps.

1. Scrap Paper or Sketchbook Page (for practice drawing)
2. Paper for Final Drawing (can be simple, or fancy and larger!) 
3. Pencil 
4. Eraser
5. Colored Pencils 
6. Pencil Sharpener
7. Ruler or Straight Edge
8. Black Marker (sharpie or other)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
