Class Experience

After taking the one time class of how to do a British accent, students can join this weekly accent to practice their skills and continue improving. Each week we will practice reading out loud and learn from some of our favorite British people. Students will learn some new information, as well as practice their British accent with scenes from our favorite British actors. This class is perfect for your child if they are brand new to learning accents or a seasoned faux Londoner.

Learning Goals
Students will continue their accent training and grow each week in their confidence. They will also learn some of the differences between an RP accent vs the many other English accents.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Well hello there! It's so nice to meet you. My name is Beth and I am an actress, teacher, and avid movie watcher.

As an actress I have performed at Universal Studios Orlando as the most wonderful British chocolatier lady. I have also worked as several princesses with a princess party company for many years, so I know about everything Disney.

Currently I teach English on VIPKID and I am an actress in film and commercial work. I also have my degree in Broadcast Journalism, so I know both the behind the scenes and in front of the camera work. I love teaching children about the performing arts and helping to guide them in the direction of an acting career, if that is their passion.

My classes will cover everything from acting, to makeup, to the business side of acting, and discussions on different movies. Can't wait to see you there!

*Please note for all classes, transfers will not be accepted less than an hour before the start of class. I will look at the reason for the request on a case by case basis and, if available, transfer the student to an open spot the night before.
