Class Experience

Students will learn to create a chain, single crochet, single crochet increase and decrease, and how to read a pattern to create a dishcloth. Students that complete the dishcloth will receive a certificate of completion. 
Learning to crochet is an invaluable experience.  I learned to crochet more than 20 years ago and love the joy that comes from creating items and teaching this beautiful craft to others. 
Students will be encouraged to finish their dishcloth and post a picture.  
 1 file available upon enrollment
Materials ($5-$7): 2-2.5 oz yarn (100% cotton, worsted weight) Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook darning needle (for finishing) scissors Pencil (for marking pattern) A handout will be provided which includes the dishcloth pattern and a guide to common stitches.
A certificate of completion will be given once the dishcloth is completed. 
3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
