Class Experience In this ongoing course, students will meet twice a week to learn how to write a five paragraph essay on a specific topic. In each class, I will model different aspects of paragraph writing. Each week, a writing skill will be taught in isolation from the other parts of the essay. I am Naomi and I have been teaching English, Language Arts, ESOL, reading, and writing for twenty years. I love to find creative, learner centered ways to engage students and immerse them in a productive learning experience. I live in a small, New England town, and I love meeting new people from all over the world. I would love to meet you and find out what we can learn together. I have taught these stories, as well as numerous other works of literature, numerous times.
Homework Offered
Students will need to be prepared to write the paragraph being covered that day. Each aspect of the five paragraph essay will be covered during the week listed, so students should be prepared to practice that week. Sharing their writing is optional. I will provide verbal and written feedback on their writing. 1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
