We'll answer these questions together during our reading of "The Resilient Sloth," a wonderful new book by Charlotte Dane! In addition to discussing the book and engaging in reading comprehension activities, students will be guided to reflect on times when they've had to build their own resilience. Learning Outcomes: - Students will define the meaning of the terms 'Mental Toughness" and "Resilience" - Students will recognize a FAIL as their First Attempt in Learning - Students will relate the 10/10/10 rule to judge the impact their problem/challenge has - Students will examine scenarios they face in life and be able to apply mental toughness to overcome them
