In this one time lesson, we will read passages from the picture book Clean Your Room, Harvey Moon! by Pat Cummings. First, we will share how we can connect to the character in the story and relate to his challenge to keep his room clean. The students will work on their own personal plan to keep their room clean and tidy. Finally, we will share our writing together in order to get some ideas on how we can keep our rooms cleaner. I will also share some of my own cleaning and organizational ideas to help students keep their rooms cleaner in the future.
