In this class, we will be reading the story 'How To Catch a Leprechaun"; written by Adam Wallace, published by Sourcebooks. We will then be discussing the story, our theories on Leprechauns, why we wear green on St. Patricks day, Leprechaun traps, pots of gold, and more. We will be ending class with an art project. We will be making "binoculars" to search for Leprechauns on St. Patricks Day. Learners will not be muted unless necessary. Learners will have plenty of opportunities to communicate with me and the other students as they answer open-ended questions and discuss Leprechauns. Some parental supervision may be needed when creating and decorating their binoculars.
