Guinea pigs make such fantastic family pets. Have you been thinking about getting a pet guinea pig? Do you have one, but would like to know more about how to better care for it? In this one time class I will share about the basics of guinea pig care, including their anatomy, dietary needs, socialization and housing needs. Students are encouraged to bring their guinea pig if they have one. I will do a question-and-answer session at the end, as well as let the students meet my two guinea pigs...

We are a family of pet lovers. We have two dogs, two guinea pigs, two parakeets, two hermit crabs, and one cat. Guinea pigs are a great family pet that doesn't require a lot of space. I enjoy teaching kids more about how to properly care for these wonderful animals.
