Depending on the individual situation, students may try to apply skills as soon as the class is completeClass Experience
This course has been successful for 2 decades in different formats. 1. We take on a real-life experience (an actual activity) to demonstrate human behavior and set a baseline. 2. We walk through personal examples of 'arrogance' and other real-life behaviors that turn people away. 3. We will cover the content of the broad topic of humility and make it personal to class. 4. We will cover the application of topics to practice as a student in life, with adults anytime, at home, or at school. 5. We will examine the importance of "showing not telling" and modeling a good example when practicing. Parents agree that having their students succeed is a priority. This is an opportunity for another adult to speak to the importance of being a good sport and leveraging your greatness (in all capacities) to be more interested than interesting.
Learning Goals
Students will understand the difference between a negative and positive 'hero' in real life
Students will practice playing the big shot - and the victim of a big shot
Students will apply methods to personal situations

Parental Guidance
Please understand that almost 93% of the 2000+ students that attend my classes are "told to participate" by their parents. I have had a lot of success in winning the kids over to stay engaged however I would ask for your grace in the "transformation" period of becoming responsible... this course has proven data and parental feedback that it can work BUT it is not a magic pill. Please take that into consideration and I am always available for a 1-1 conversation if you need support.
Thank you for the gift of working with your student.
