Description

Class Experience

Welcome to How to Be an Amazing Friend! This is an ongoing class that meets once a week and covers a new subject each day. This class is best suited for students 10-13 years old. The purpose of the class is to get students to talk, really listen to each other, and get out there and make some great friends . The class is inspired by the Meisner technique of acting which has a strong emphasis on really talking and really listening.

This class is taught through discussion and some slide use....

Students will learn what makes an amazing friend, how to keep the conversation going, how to give and receive compliments, and much much more!

While no homework is assigned, students are encouraged to get out there and make friends!

No assessment is given.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
