How I Will Teach:
I teach through a combination of direct instruction and small group guided discussion.
 
Teaching Style:
I tend to be Socratic in my teaching. Questions will be posed and through robust discussion we will gain deep conceptual understanding.

My name is Joshua Lewis and I teach everybody's favorite subject - Mathematics! I have been teaching math for over 20 years - from 6th grade to university-level courses. I hold a Master of Science degree in mathematics from the University of California with many units beyond that - because I am crazy about math! For the past 15 years I have served as a professor of mathematics at the college level.
