Class Experience

Every class will have a pre-arranged topic (see below) and students will be encouraged to explore the next week's discussion ahead of the class and come prepared with questions. A discussion will be held on each topic about what it means to the students and how it is relevant in their daily lives and their futures, following which there will be a question and answer session. As a serial entrepreneur who founded three successful companies before the age of 30 my drive to succeed in life began in my teens when I realised the power of positive motivation. I was lucky enough to have a good mentor who guided me through the dark days which happen to us all and helped to make me the positive individual I am today. I'm Johnathan, a native English speaker living in the UK. I hold a Bachelors degree and have also completed the 120 hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language course (TEFL). I am working full time teaching conversational English to children and adults.

1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Sensitive topics such as religion, radical politics, and mental illness will be acknowledged and flagged with parents immediately after the class. Equally if anything arises during our discussions which I feel may, in any way, indicate vulnerabilities in any child I will alert the parents immediately. Every class is recorded and only parents will have access to these recordings, allowing them to review topics discussed during the class. This allows for full disclosure and a better understanding of the individual child's needs.
