Before you read, ask yourself, "What questions do I have about this topic? What do I hope to learn?" Then, as you read, look for the answers. It is important to ask questions about a text prior to reading to know what the purpose is or what you are hoping to gain from the reading. This is a one time class. The teacher and students will read two articles together. The first article is, "School Website" which is set up as an interview between a reporter and person. The second article is "Our Energetic World" which discusses science concepts of energy and molecules. Teacher will use a PowerPoint as a visual aide. There is no outside homework for this course.
