I will teach students how to identify fractions, and the relationship they have with decimals and percents, The class will start by introducing fractions, having students identify fractions, and naming the different parts of a fraction, I will show them pictures of different shaped divided into equal parts and have them describe the fractional number shown by the shaded part. Then students will learn how to convert fractions to decimals and to percents. I will show different examples and then will let them practice . Students will interact at all time with the teacher.
