Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
This class will be an introduction to the U.S. election process, focusing on Presidential elections.

We will discuss the following during class:
1) The qualifications required for someone to serve as the President.
2) The qualifications in order to be able to vote in a U.S. election.
3) An overview of the seven steps of a presidential election.

The first two points above will be discussed as we work through the seven steps. There will be a lot of information presented and some may abstract to the learners. My goal is for this class to be an overview so that youth understand there are a lot of steps in the process and hopefully gain a basic understanding of the process.

This session will be highly interactive. I like to ask questions of all learners to help build their critical thinking and to ensure comprehension of material.
