Description
Class Experience
I have taught WWII classes in a brick and morter setting for 5 years and on Outschool now for more than a year. I know how to approach sensitive subjects with truth, honesty and in a way learners can understand. I have a passion for history; especially war history and love to pass on my knowledge to kids in fun and engaging ways!
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Videos mention concentration camps, holocaust and prejudices of the Nazis and Hitler. Students may have questions re: the above topics as well, I gently explain that I do not go into great detail in my classes due to the fact that I feel it is each families decision what learners know. There are varying levels of knowledge in my classes and I keep these conversations to a minimum and keep on topic. Even though this class is from the German Perspective, the videos really will not take us there, other than as events in the timeline of German history and do not go deep in detail. I chose to focus on other events to discuss.
