This class is designed to teach students about body language and nonverbal communication. The topics covered will include different movements and habits that people generally do while interacting with others and how to interpret those actions to better understand and meet the needs of those who are being spoken too. The first class will be structured by introducing the topic of body language, stating the importance, and listing some of the most basic forms of body language. The second class will include a discussion about the homework, further discussing basic forms of body language in more detail, and integration about how to continue learning about body language outside of the classroom.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am a self-motivated individual who aspires to teach and share knowledge with others across a multitude of topics. I believe that knowledge is power and sharing what we know can make all the difference for those around us. I am also a very outgoing individual and enjoy the outdoors, bike riding, running, and spending quality time with friends and family. The classes I teach include the fundamentals of understanding body language, architecture, graphic design, health and wellness through physical activity, and environmental studies. I have a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Environmental Design with extensive Architecture experience; and I am a certified EcoDistricts planner. Something fun and personal is that I have participated in the El Tour de Tucson 100-mile bike race four years in a row!
