Class Experience

I am super excited to offer this book based class for students to learn about how foods grow.

Each week class will start with a short read aloud on the food of the day. Students will receive a coloring page or worksheet ahead of time to go along with the story. I will also share a short video to support what we have read. At the end of class we will do a wrap up activity to check for comprehension.

Along the way I will engage students in conversation that supports making connections. I will help them relate text to self, text to text, and text to world to broaden their horizons. Students are welcome to take turns reading aloud if they choose.
