In this lecture-style class, students will be introduced to the different tiers of government in Canada. Students will be able to see the PowerPoint in class and interact with each other and the teacher throughout the class. We will discuss what it means to be a Dominion of Great Britain and what this means as a Canadian citizen. This is a great introductory course to Canadian government. Students will learn the three tiers of government (municipal, provincial/territorial and federal) and how they interact with each other. Additionally, we will cover the role of the Prime Minister and how they interact with the Governor-General and the Queen.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
