What we will learn specifically:

- Why are manners important?
- Using manners as a way to show respect to others (and showing respect to elders)
- Guildelines for manners (when to use different manners)
- Table manners (including but not limited to putting electronics down at the table, chewing with your mouth closed, no elbows on the table, and how to properly set a table)
- Digital manners (electronics, social media, and more!)
- Sportsmanship
- Buffet manners
- Writing thank you notes

And more!

**Manners and etiquette can vary from country to country/culture to culture. The ones I am offering are generally accepted in most countries, but are specific to the United States. As a fun interactive portion of the class, I will be inviting learners to share some manners specific to their culture.

See you in class!
