In this class, we will be learning appropriate manners in different social situations (staying at someone's house, playing sports, digitally & more), as well as proper etiquette (including table manners and how to set a table). What we will learn specifically: - Why are manners important? - Using manners as a way to show respect to others (and showing respect to elders) - Guildelines for manners (when to use different manners) - Table manners (including but not limited to putting...

Students will learn basic etiquette and manners by the end of this course. Some examples of what students will be learn will include: how to write a thank you note, how to set a table, examples of good manners, why it is important to have good manners, and much more!
I have a degree in psychology and worked with kids ages 3-18 in the public school setting teaching social skills for 9 years.
