In this class students will learn how penguin's skin helps them stay dry and warm even in colder temperature waters. Learners will have a coloring activity to do as we discuss how penguins stay dry. This coloring activity mimics how water repels off of penguins in real life. During this class we will also talk about penguin fun facts! Penguin coloring sheet - https://www.cool2bkids.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Baby-Penguin-Coloring-Pages.jpg White, black, and orange crayons (must be crayons) Spray bottle with small amount of water Blue food coloring - OPTIONAL
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
