Description

Class Experience

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
  • Minecraft Bedrock
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be playing Minecraft on a private Bedrock Realm.
Please review internet safety with your child:
— Do not ask other people to connect online outside of our programs without first confirming with your adults.
— Do NOT give away personal information
— If an individual asks for personal information, you should inform me, or your adult for guidance.
There will be no participant allowed on this server that was not approved by me.

Minecraft played in survival mode does have some minor cartoon violence, players use pixelized weapons to defeat "mobs" such as zombies or skeletons they also have the option to farm animals for food. Players also can take damage and "die". This resets their character at a spawn point. There is no blood, gore, profanity, or sexuality.

We will be in survival mode, but the difficulty will be set to "peaceful" and "easy", therefore there will be a few dangerous "mobs". There is the possibility of sustaining fall damage and other types of damages as well which may result in the character "dying" in game.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses Minecraft Bedrock.
