Come explore a completely survival Minecraft (Bedrock) realm! This one-time class will discuss obtaining achievements, beating Minecraft, and anything else you may be wondering! During the class, learners can join my private realm to play with other learners and maybe even work on some achievements! This class is played on my private Minecraft Realm. I will give the code for my realm during the zoom meeting. In order to join students must have access to multiplayer games and be playing on Bedrock Edition. Students do not need to subscribe to Minecraft Realms Plus. Please make sure that your student meets all of the requirements before signing up, if you have any questions please let me know. Joining the Realm is optional, students may enter their own Minecraft world and join the chat about the achievements and Minecraft through Outschool Zoom chat. If playing on Windows 10 you will need: -A free Xbox Live account. -Have permissions turned on. If Playing on Xbox One -An Xbox GOLD account for online play. -Have permissions turned on. The above requirements will need to be met to be able to join the private server. Students may choose to join the class and chat on zoom while in their own world if they would like rather than joining the realm. They also may join just for the chat if they are playing on Java Edition. Please let me know if this will be the case. Please let me know if you have any issues with meeting the requirements. Minecraft played in survival mode does have some minor cartoon violence, players use pixelized weapons to defeat "mobs" such as zombies or skeletons they also have the option to farm animals for food. Players also can take damage and "die". This resets their character at a spawn point. There is no blood, gore, profanity, or sexuality.

We will be in survival mode, but the difficulty will be set to "peaceful" and "easy", therefore there will be a few dangerous "mobs". There is the possibility of sustaining fall damage and other types of damages as well which may result in the character "dying" in game.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Maine Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Master's Degree in Education from Eastern Connecticut State University
Hello! My name is Robin Monini.
I currently offering classes in Minecraft. I have experience in outdoor education in a wide variety of settings from guiding snorkeling in rural forest communities to urban gardening in cities. I earned my associate's degree in fish and wildlife technology, bachelor's degree in fisheries and aquaculture, and master's degree in elementary education. I hold a teaching certification in elementary, secondary biology, and agriculture education. I currently work as an aquaculture and aquaponics high school teacher in a rural public school. I am also certified in Project WET, Project WET WOW!, Project WILD, and Project Learning Tree.
I love to get people of all ages excited about the environment and conservation. Knowledge is power, and we must learn about something in order to love it, and when we love it, we want to protect it. I believe learning should be student-centered and interactive. Children are naturally curious and I believe that we should promote this in every learning experience.
Some of my favorite hobbies are hiking, snorkeling, photography, Minecraft, geocaching, and reading. I look forward to teaching and learning with my students.

Schedule Requests/ Private Classes
I can respond directly to schedule requests. I check my requests daily and I will accommodate as much as I can! I also will accommodate for private lessons, please message me about times and cost. Although I do not have any automatic availability set, I may still be able to create sections for classes that may work for you.

Siblings
If you have more than one learner enrolled in a class, each learner that wants to join the class must be enrolled to be fair to other learners participating. Enrolled siblings are always welcome to share a screen during the class, please let me know if that will be the case.

Refunds and Transfers:
Per Outschool's limited refund policy: "Full refund within 24 hours of purchase or up to a week in advance of the class.", missed classes do not qualify for a refund. I will be happy to transfer your learner to another section but require at least 24 hours' notice.
For one-time classes:
If within the week, you realize you won't be able to make class, please submit a transfer request from the classroom at least 24 hours in advance. This ensures learners who would like to take the class have enough time to see the opening and enroll.
If contacted after class, I cannot refund or transfer. I do understand personal/family emergencies come up and will do my best to accommodate you if I am contacted before class. If your learner is withdrawn on your end within the non-refundable period, I am unable to transfer you. It is best to contact me first for your options.
Refund/Transfer Policy
Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds for missed classes. I will be glad to transfer your learner to another section but require 24 hours' notice. This timing is necessary in order to fill the spot you are transferring from. If I transfer you on short notice, I may not be able to fill your original spot, which means you are taking up two spots but only paying for one.
