How Do Animals See the World? Experience Seeing Like Different Animals!

In this one-time class, the students will learn, discuss, and experience how dogs, Geckos, Snails, Giant Clams, and Jumping Spiders see compared to humans.

Class Experience

Students will learn how 5 different animals see differently than humans through viewing a presentation, seeing examples, having a discussion and doing two experiments. 
Optional: Learn about another animal's sight.
The student needs a piece of paper and two empty toilet paper rolls.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be informal assessment of their understanding through discussion.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
